“Excellent hotel, great location, good value” Absolutely fabulous hotel, excellent location (easy, 20 minute walk to old town pedestrian area), market nearby, shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Very comfortable beds, clean, recent updates to hotel, adept staff. Highly recommended. Room Tip: Excellent value for an up-market hotel, great location, highly recommended.
“Lovely hotel” Just come back from a one night stay and thought the rooms were lovely. Extremely comfortable big bed and sitting area all with free wifi throughout hotel. Bathroom had lovely big bath / shower and lots of piping hot water. Very pleasant staff. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to friends.
“A fabulous hideaway in the city” This boutique hotel is a real find - tucked away in a fairly quiet street but close to the heart of the city. The rooms are a good size and very comfortably furnished, with large bathrooms and plenty of wardrobe space. Although the rooms alone would be enough to make the hotel a must for returning travellers, where it excels even more is in its staff. They were all extrememly helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Both the reception and the bar staff were excellent but special mention must go to Adina, the delightful breakfast waitress, who seemed to really love looking after her guests and ensuring they had everything they wanted. The hotel even has its own mini bus, so transfers are arranged smoothly. Highly recommended.
“Charming boutique hotel” This charming little hotel near Romana Square, was just perfect for me during my recent business trip to Bucharest. A peaceful haven after a busy day. The hotel itself is a large renovated 30s (pre- communist era) style building and offers a small number of rooms. I was lucky to have one of the small suites, which had all the necessary amenities for a business traveller; wi-fi, international TV station, and well stocked mini bar. Excellent breakfast and courteous service. Reasonable room rate. Highly recommended. Room Tip: Choose the junior suite.
“Splendid !” We really enjoyed this hotel : the staff were outstanding - extremely pleasant and efficient everywhere from the breakfast room via reception to the cleaners. We felt we were amongst friends. Spotlessly clean, well situated and quiet (we had rooms on the top floor), with good and quiet a/c, fast wi-fi, plenty of space, very good breakfasts . . . We can recommend the Amzei without hesitation; staying there really added to our enjoyment of our stay in Bucharest. Room Tip: We were on the top floor with plenty of light, quiet, and roof-top views. I guess lower down might n...
“Excellent Hotel in the Heart of Bucharest” Spent a few days at the Hotel Amzei during a short visit to Bucharest. The hotel is located along Amzei Street, close to Piata Amzei. Notable near this area is the French Embassy. The hotel is small and intimate. The rooms are quiet and wifi works fine. Beds are comfortable and the showers work just fine and are hot! As with any hotel, the quality of the staff is crucial and I found that the Amzei Hotel has an excellent team working for them. Breakfast is a complete European fare, you definitely will start the day well. I will definitely visit the Amzei Hotel again when I come back to Bucharest, and fully recommend it.
“Couldn´t be better” Spurred on by the favorable reviews on Trip Advisor, my wife & I selected Amzei Hotel for our last two nights of an 11 day Romanian trip. It was a wise decision. The neighborhood is quiet with all needs nearby. It is a ten minute walk to the Antheneum & the more expensive chain hotels. A pleasant restaurant, The Harbor, is close by the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The WiFi worked fine & our deluxe double room was sizeable with a confortable bed. Breakfast was very nice. Should our travels bring us back to Bucharest, I would certainly stay at Amzei again Room Tip: We were on the third floor, which was fine
“Sweet Boutique Hotel” Very lovely small boutique hotel in the middle of the city - right near the Hilton and Radisson. Quiet with personal attention. Stayed in a very twee perfect and quiet garret room. Best night's sleep I had in a long time. Room Tip: I enjoyed my room at the very top of the hotel. Nice big bathroom and a lot of space overall.
“Very good” Been here severally over the last 2 years and it never disappoints. Rooms are spacious with sizeable beds and air con. Finished To a pretty high standard. Breakfast always good. Varied and sizeable. Staff are always friendly. Recommended.
“Great place to stay staff very helpful!!!” Stayed here for nearly a week whilst at a meeting. Very comfortable rooms, in a quiet location and good places to eat very near by. Thought the airport transfer service was good value too. Would stay here again
